Here it is the Roman Soldier. Actually it is a mix from two images of an art book. It is also my first try of representing a human body so it is far from being perfect. It is made of a whole piece of cedar. It has two changeable weapons: an olive-wood two-edges axe and an ebony sword. They took me more than one our of work each. It took me very long to make the man as the cedar wood is very soft and there was always the risk of breaking the mantle. cm 13x7,5x15 2001

IThe Thinkingman n.2 is made of robinia wood. It is a very hard wood with remarkable aesthetic result due to its grain and to the opalescence the light creates on the curves. cm 9x9x8 2001
